TrySkirmishing's main site is situated at Aughnabrack Fort on the Cavehill outside Belfast. Known as the 'Hill of the Wolf', we occupy 165 acres of challenging terrain.

We provide an outdoor tactical game of team based combat, also known as “electronic” Paintball. Although the similarities end there, as with Laser Skirmishing the type of weapons, their range and the tactical element of the game is so much better.

We are perfect for Corporate Groups, Birthday Parties, Sports/Social Events and Stag & Hen parties.

Laser Skirmish is a completely non-contact adventure experience. Lending itself more to the Team Building and problem solving school of activities, it is a Mission orientated outdoor activity.

Players are issued with a Laser Weapon (which is in reality not actually a Laser, but a harmless infrared emitter), attached to which there are three infrared receptors. The opposition merely fire their weapons at the field created by these receptors, and if a hit is recorded the weapon will sound accordingly.

Players wear a hat on which are attached two infra-red receptors which are themselves connected to the weapon. The opposition fire a harmless infrared beam at the field created by the 3 receptors – two on the hat and the one on the weapon.

Our mantra is simple, this is a Painless, Tactical, Fun activity, so why not TRY Skirmishing!!
