NIMSA is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) and members are required to join BMFA. This is mainly for insurance purposes. NIMSA is open to new members, but in line with current BMFA guidelines, under 18's must be accompanied by a responsible adult, (either a parent or other responsible adult with written authorisation from the parents)

Currently, we have 19 senior members and 1 junior

NIMSA has access to a sports field belonging to Belfast City Council for thermal soaring and slope soaring takes place throughout N. Ireland
