From Belfast, you will come into Newcastle via the Dundrum Rd. Follow the natural one-way system to the Main St. (On the right, you may spot Newcastle YMCA—this is the wrong one—keep going!)

• Drive full length of Newcastle Main St (to end of promenade on your left—approx half a mile)

• Turn RIGHT at lights onto BRYANSFORD ROAD/A2. Continue to follow BRYANSFORD ROAD. (400 yards) Get into left lane. The road splits, straight on and right turn —you go straight on.

• Turn LEFT onto TULLYBRANNIGAN ROAD, (1st junction after road splits)

• Turn LEFT onto SHANSLIEVE DRIVE. (1st junction)

• At the top of SHANSLIEVE DRIVE, turn left into Park (there is a small sign on a fence pointing left to Greenhill YMCA.

• Follow winding road/lane into the forest. You will see a small bridge on the left. Follow lane another 50 yards around a tight right-hand bend.

• Greenhill YMCA is the first right turn after the bend. There are canoes at the gates.

• Follow the road into the centre and park in the bottom car park
