Services Offered

Since East Coast Adventure was founded in the early ninety’s, it has gone from strength to strength. Our philosophy is simple. Good food, the best staff and non-stop adventure in a comfortable safe environment.

Based in the Mountains of Mourne on the shores of Carlingford Lough, East Coast Adventure has the perfect backdrop for an action packed trip. Our purpose built facility sits on the side of a mountain 3 miles outside the village of Rostrevor. Rostrevor is conveniently situated 60 minutes from Dublin airport and 50 minutes from Belfast.

As well as our purpose built residential centre, we also offer a mobile service where we can come to you on request. For example, we could meet your group at Castlewellan Lake for a quick paddle and then bus you to the Bloody Bridge for an action packed Bouldering session. Custom build your programme and activities to get the most out of your day. We can also come to your school, club or business and deliver team building and adventure programmes.

Accommodation
Our Mountain centre, Knockbarragh, can sleep up to 70 people and all residential programmes are fully catered. The centre can be split into two self-sufficient levels making it easy to split groups up if necessary. We are equipped with Sky TV, DVD, VCR and wireless broadband. Groups have 24-hour access to tea, coffee and snacks.

Outside session time East Coast Adventure offers a Duty Instructor Service. The Duty Instructor stays in the centre 24 hours and will assist group leaders in everything from getting the group up in the morning to organising bags onto the bus at the end of your stay. The duty instructor is also responsible for security and maintaining a safe environment for your stay.
