The Appentice's Jim Eastwood supports Big Bike 2012

May
9

Jim Eastwood will be getting on his bike to support the Big Bike 2012, a 22 mile leisure ride which starts from the grounds of Stormont Estate, Belfast, on Sunday May 13th.

A former BBC Apprentice candidate, Jim reached the final three in the boardroom with Lord Sugar, and was an All Ireland Cycling Champion in his teens.

Pictured with Neil McGuigan, Retail Manager at CRC's flagship Belfast store and Kerry Anderson from CRC's nominated Northern Ireland charity, Action Cancer, Jim said: "This event is a great way to not only promote cycling as a fantastic sport and a leisure activity, but also to provide Belfast with a great opportunity to be involved in the 2012 Games.

It is events like these which truly show off Belfast's capability to host world-class events, and hopefully many more prestigious sporting events like this one will follow in the future."

The Big Bike 2012 leisure cycle will follow in the 22 mile tracks of the Olympic hopefuls and is already proving popular, with half of the 500 available places now booked.

The organisers are encouraging anyone to take part, whether it is on your own, with a group, on a tandem or even with a baby seat or pull along bike on the back so the younger cycling fans can take part.

Register now at www.CelticChrono.com while spaces are still available.
