Beat the Street Game Returns to Northern Ireland

Aug
16

Beat the Street, a real life walking, cycling and running game designed for the whole community, is returning to Belfast!

It will begin on Wednesday 13th September and take place across 7 weeks, with the final day to play being Wednesday 1st November.

The goal is to encourage people to move from point to point via cycling, walking or running and scoring points with a specially designed Radio Frequency ID 'Beat the Street' card.

These cards are placed against sensors (known as Beat Boxes) located on lamp posts across Belfast, much like how contactless cards are used.

Players tap their registered cards at different points and every tap puts you in with the chance to win regular spot prizes on a Beat Box. These prizes can be be chosen for a local school, the community or for yourself!

The more Beat Boxes that are tapped, the more distance you'll have covered and the more chance to win.
