Spring has sprung at Rowallane Garden

Mar
31

After a long, cold winter now is the perfect time to get outdoors and reconnect with nature and spot signs of our garden bursting into life this Easter.

Put a spring in your step with our Step into Spring Walks until 30 April, pick up your walk to tick what you see as you discover and explore the garden at this time of renewal.

Hop on into the barn for some Fun in The Barn from 10-25 April and get involved in fun Easter crafting, make some little egg chicks or an Easter card; your imagination can run wild. Pick up a nature wristband and head off on an exploration around the garden and spot nature bursting into life, whilst sticking any interesting foliage to the wristband.

The Easter Bunny has been hiding clues around the garden, so hop along for a day of discovery on 15-17 April from 10:30 to 4pm to solve the clues for a tasty Cadbury’s surprise at our Cadbury Egg Hunts. Why not try your balancing skills with classic egg and spoon races and get your face painted along the way. Don’t get too competitive, it’s all just good family fun.

Our café will be open throughout for some refreshment and some eggs-ordinarily good Easter treats.

Normal admission charges apply and National Trust members free admission, plus £1 for the Egg Hunt.
