Kinnego Bay and Marina is situated at the southern tip of Lough Neagh in a picturesque setting close to main access routes.
It is a sheltered bay, 400 sq km in area, with outstanding fishing for roach, bream, hybrids, perch, pike and eel.
The marina is an access point on the Lough Neagh Canoe Trail.
Open all year round
Fishing is especially good in May, June and to mid July.
Anglers must use the Waggler method and respect the 2 pike per day limit. Pike of 4kg (8.8Ib) must be returned to the water, there are no other restrictions. Anglers may use their own boat or alternatively hire from Carrick Marine. No permit is required but over 18's must have a FCB coarse fishing rod licence.
I wouldnt advise anyone to camp here. its 1.36am and this place is in full swing with loud and abusive drunks. No warden is on site. Considering ive been treaten and insulted after asking them to keep the noise down; im now considering contacting the PSNI. We dont have a choice to just leave and go home since the barrier is locked. This campsite is well facilitated. Pity about the unpleasant company.
Many thanks for your feedback. We do not manage the site ourselves but simply promote it as a venue for outdoor recreation. I have passed on your feedback to Craigavon Borough Council who manage the site.
