Dungiven Castle Park

Dungiven Castle Park

The park is located behind the Castle and is just 20 mins from Derry~Londonderry. The 20-acre park include Victorian gardens as well as wetland habitat and a wooded area.

On site there is a duck pond and picnic area. The park is also home to endangered red squirrels.

Visited here recently unfortuantely were unable to access the castle grounds because all the signs were in irish,when tried to find someone for information the doors were locked, again with irish signs on them, we were disappointed and had to leave. It would of been helpful had the signs been in english.
