Fly 'n' Drive Combo

About the Idea

Learn to fly a hovercraft and experience the thrill of floating over land and water at speed , whilst attempting controlled drifts and negotiating hairpin bends. Afterwards, test your coordination by driving a Powerturn Buggy - rear wheel drive, steered using separate throttles for each wheel. Expert initial tuition and practice is given for each discipline, before taking on our purpose built hovertrack with water hazards and slalom buggy track.

On the day, you will be warmly greeted by our experienced and friendly staff, who will issue protective clothing and give a full safety briefing on the operation of the craft. Depending on which unique activity you choose to do first it will then be time to experience the thrill of floating on a cushion of air at speed, or take on the challenge of manoeuvring a roll cage buggy with no steering wheel. Initial tuition and practice will be followed by 4 laps of each track. Hot showers are available if needed at the end of your session.

Participants must be 16 years old or over, and physically capable of handling both types of craft.

Full face helmets and coverall boilersuits will be issued Buoyancy jackets are also available. Old clothes and trainers or boots are recommended. A change of clothes is advisable in wet weather, and showers are available on site.

Open 7 days per week, weather permitting. Pre-booking is essential.
