Portrush Shark Fishing

About the Idea

On one days fishing we have boated 26 sharks. It is not uncommon to boat five fish over 100lb in one days fishing.

With numerous tope, blue and porbeagle sharks over 200lbs and also monsters lost when anglers have broken down during the fight!

On arrival at the fishing grounds we catch Mackerel for fresh bait, onion bags are then filled full of mashed fish (know locally as Rubby Dubby) and are hung from the side of the boat, this creates a scent to attract sharks to the bait.

Hook up a whole mackerel and drop it over the side... wait for the reel to scream with the massive bite!
