About the Idea

This weekend break in the heart of the Mourne Mountains in Co.Down, includes two nights accommodation in the "Cnocnafeola Centre" This modern purpose built accommodation in Atticall Village, full with good old Irish charm, accommodates up to 31 people with a selection of dorm and private en suite rooms. The centre has wet gear for rental.

This package includes 2 nights stay in a private ensuite room with continental breakfast (fresh fruit salad, selection of cereals, selection of breads, yoghurt, porridge and tea/coffee). A packed lunch (sandwiches, fruit and bar) is also provided for your walk as well as one evening meal on the night of your choice in the restaurant, BYOW. (All meals are homemade using fresh local produce). Evening meal is optional- discuss with the centre.

As part of the break, we can provide you with up to 10 self guided walks in the area. All of which are rated on difficulty and also length of time.

Recommended walks near to the centre are Lough Shannagh, Slieve Binnian and also the Windy Gap.

This 3 day break is subject to availability and is not available for Easter Weekend. Other weekends may already be booked so please contact us directly.
