Mountain Bike Activity Session

This voucher is for one person only. This voucher is valid for 10 months from the date of purchase.


Ages 10 and up (minimum height 140cm), Participants under age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Maximum group size of 8 people. Children may be offered alternative mountain bikes. Basic cycling ability essential, though this may be your first time on trails.

On The Day

Meet us at Ardnavally Scout Centre to be matched with a mountain bike and have it adjusted to suit you. Bikes and Helmets will be checked over and a pre ride safety briefing will be conducted on site covering bike operation, and to refresh basic riding skills. We will then point you down to the cycling trails in Barnett Demesne and can advise you on selecting suitable routes for a challenging and exciting ride. The session lasts up to three hours. Use of bikes on jump tracks is not included.

What's Included

High performance Marin Hard Tail Mountain Bike and helmet - use of helmet mandatory.

Alternative bikes may be offered to people not tall enough for the Marin Hardtails.

What To Bring

Clothes suitable for cycling (shorts or tight fitting trousers to avoid snagging on chain and a long sleeved top), gloves if you have them. Children may want to wear knee/elbow pads. Drinks and snacks as required in a backpack.
