About the Event

Want to try something unique, chilled out and super fun? Then Stand Up Paddleboarding is for you!

Stand up paddleboarding (SUP), is an ancient form of surfing (with a paddle) with a Hawaiian heritage. Emerging as a popular and competitive global sport.

The session is suitable for for varying abilities.

Meeting your qualified instructor at Swanns Bridge picnic area you will be given all the safety equipment you need. After a quick change and safety briefing you’ll be off for 1.5 hours of exhilarating yet peaceful Stand Up Paddleboarding meandering down the river alongside your instructor who will give you tips on technique.

What to Bring

Swimming trunks/costume to wear under a wetsuit

Towel

Asthma Inhaler (if applicable)

Warm clothes for after the session

Directions from Limavady: Long Line Water Trails meets at Swanns Bridge Picnic Area on the River Roe, 5 miles north of Limavady. Continue for 5 miles along the coast road until you drive over the bridge and then take an immediate right into the picnic area where you can park for free.
