About the Event

Annual Joint Christmas Charity walk organized by Clogher Valley Walking Club and Knockatallon Ramblers.

Meet at 12:30 at Knockmany Lower Car Park, near Augher, for walk up to the cairn at the top of Knockmany Forest. Christmas carols at the top together with mulled wine, mince pies or other refreshments that you choose to bring. Followed by raffle in Knockmany Lower Car Park and Irish/beef stew (vegetarian option for those who cannot take meat) and sweets at Clogher Mart from approximately 16:00.

A family-friendly charitable event with a requested donation of 10 pounds or 10 euro per person, all of which will go towards the charity Air Ambulance NI (see

An easy walk along forest paths with a climb to the top of the hill.

Well-behaved dogs welcome. Paths may be muddy if wet.

What to Bring

Bring warm clothes and waterproofs if wet. If you wish, bring a sweet to share for consumption at Clogher Mart after the walk, and also raffle prizes (the more the merrier).
