Macnean Night Paddle

About the Event

As darkness falls, step into your canoe, push off the shore and slip into the still waters.

Listen to the water gurgling beneath your boat between your rhythmic paddle strokes, marvel at the splendour of the setting sun as the light dimmers behind Thur Mountain.

Accompanied by our qualified instructor you will navigate between the dark silhouettes of Lough Macnean’s many islands absorbing the stillness and peace of a summer evening and drifting under the starry sky.

Your instructor will finish your tour on an island where you will enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit by the side of a camp fire.

Minimum age 7. Under 9s must be accompanied by an adult.

All equipment provided. Lights provided.

Price:

Child (7-9) £10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Teenager (10-17) £15

Adult (18+) £22

Family (4 people – max 2 adults) £64

When?

Every Thursday evening in July & August – 8-10pm

Corralea Activity Centre ltd. reserves the right to cancel the paddle if the weather conditions are too rough.
