Far and Wild Camp - Craft for Kids

About the Event

Ever wanted to help your child learn some of the basics of wild-camping? And come along yourself just for the fun? Far and Wild is running wild camp-craft lessons for parents and their children over the summer months. Learn the simple way to survive outdoors on the bare essentials- cooking, keeping warm, building a shelter, and, most importantly, having fun!

Learning will be through games and enjoyable demonstrations and team or family exercises culminating in a group meal- prepared, in part, by your very own child chefs!

Join any one of our series of days, starting on Sat May 19th, which will be based in different forest and park locations within easy reach of Derry

What to Bring

Snack, hot drink, water, old clothes you don't mind getting dirty, wellies or boots, waterproof coats
