About the Event

Course pre-requisites:

MUST BE FEMALE!

None apart from a reasonable level of fitness and willingness to try something new.

Course summary:

Women Only Go Climbing is simply an introduction to rock climbing with an emphasis on getting the most climbing out of the day and imparting some skills and tips along the way.

Who is the course for?

For females, young or old, who have ever looked up at the rock faces and wondered what it would be like to climb them.

Only a basic level of fitness required, and don’t worry about a head for heights we’ll look after that bit!

What to Bring

Bring any of your own personal hill walking outdoor clothing and kit, if you have any, such as, waterproof jacket and trousers, boots, fleece jacket, hat and gloves, flask, water bottle, and spare clothes.

Tollymore can supply most of the equipment you require for this course but it is preferable to use your own where possible even if it’s just a chance for your instructor to comment on your kit and give advice, but don't panic if you don't have any gear as we can kit you out.
