About the Event

Having paddled a kayak is not essential. It is important that you are confident/comfortable in the water and can swim in a buoyancy aid.

Course Summary:

This course is run over four evenings in our state of the art rolling pool. We will start with the fundamentals and over the four week programme help you to develop these foundation skills into a reliable roll that you can count on.

Skills covered will include boat set up, core strength, edge control, support strokes and the Eskimo roll.

Who is the course for?

This course is not designed for beginners but for those wishing to learn how to roll a kayak. Also for those interested in progressing down the road to independent paddling the Eskimo roll is a big step on this journey.

What to Bring

All technical equipment will be supplied by Tollymore, all you will need is swimsuit, towel and toiletries
