A 3 week course for those wanting to re-start exercise and increase health and fitness through walking in the outdoors.
The course is delivered by a qualified, approachable and motivated Walking and Fitness Instructor, who will motivate you all the way!
Nordic Walking is a specific technique that promises to deliver a more effective way of walking burning more calories and using more muscles, than walking without poles. The poles are specially designed for Nordic Walking. Using poles also reduces the stress on joints.
You are also shown how to use the natural environment as your own gym and how to do effective resistance training, toning specific muscles groups.
