About the Event

26 Extreme are pleased to announce that the 2012 Mourne Way Ultra Marathon is set to take place on Saturday 9 June 2012. Following on from the success of previous years' races the event is once again set to attract runners from, Ireland, the UK and Europe to compete in what is fast becoming the most talked about off road ultra marathon in Ireland.

All routes will be fully waymarked - therefore navigation skills will not be a requirement for this event.

Kilbroney Park will be a hive of activity on the day of the event and we will have food stands and other shops / stalls that participants and their families will be interested in.

Bring the family, stay in the locality for the weekend and enjoy the fun by competing in or taking part in one of the most exciting events on the running calendar.

Entries for this fantastic event are now open and all details are contained on the website –

Time to get away from the tarmac and concrete - the Mourne Way is calling!
