This is a 1 day introductory course teaching many of the root aspects of Bushcraft.
Learn how to site a camp, trace and find water, build and light an efficient fire and make a rudimentary shelter.
We will show you some common natural wild plants used for food and medicine and teach you how to correctly identify them.
The Seedling will give a flavour of Bushcraft to the total beginner and a taste of what lies ahead, but it is by no means basic as the novice or more advanced Bushcrafter can still benefit from what we cover in this 1 day course.
No prior Bushcraft experience is required for this course other than an open minded willingness to learn and a good sense of humour.
This course is available for those aged 14 years and above. Anyone under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
What you will need is some basic outdoor clothing, drinks, packed-lunch, and a day-sac. It will also be worth bringing a notebook and a camera for keeping a record of what you have learned.
A suggested kit-list is available and it will also be e-mailed to you with your e-mail receipt after your booking has been accepted.
Any specialist equipment needed will be provided for your use during the day.
Please see our website www.nisurvival.co.uk for full contact booking and payment details.
