How To Get Started

Simple – find the venue nearest to you. Then make sure to book in advance for the day of your choice.

On arrival you’ll be provided with a harness and a safety briefing.

The majority of venues will see you tackle the obstacles under the guidance of an instructor. However at the Jungle NI, Moneymore, their innovative safety system safety line means you cannot physically unhook yourself until clipped in to another line. All you need to do is follow our simple training instructions and you'll have a safe and fun time whilst left on your own to complete the course.

Be sure to wear appropriate clothing. Footwear with thick soles and good grip; trainers or ankle-supporting boots are perfect and will help with your footing on the course. Flip flops, sandals or slip off shoes are not allowed. Wear loose and comfy clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Midriffs and top thighs should not be bare as harnesses may chafe. Long hair must be tied back and any body piercings should be removed or covered over. As with any outdoor activity check out the weather forecast for the day and dress accordingly so if it’s raining bring your waterproofs. Some sites will require you to bring gloves but don’t worry if you haven’t got any, you’ll be able to hire them anyway.

Is It Easy?

The only barrier is your mind. This may be the ideal opportunity to overcome your fear of heights with the knowledge that you are completely safe whilst attached to the safety lines.

A certain degree of physical fitness is needed, but not to worry if you do get a little tired there are rest platforms available.

Is It Expensive?

Prices range from £20 - £35 per person depending on the venue. Sessions last around 2 – 2 ½ hours.
