Wet & Wild High Octane Fun – Jet Skiing is perfect for thrill seeking adrenaline junkies Jet Skis or Personal Watercraft (PWC) have become incredibly popular in Northern Ireland over the past decade. The diverse range of coastline, Loughs and rivers provide numerous venues for Jet Ski fun. The ease of transport via a small trailer means no where is more than two hours away. Jet Skis are even powerful enough to use as tow boats for waterskiing. Jet Skis are mainly privately owned as a previously thriving hire industry has been hindered by increasing insurance costs. In fact all the hire providers in Northern Ireland have ceased trading in the last five years. However not all in lost, there is still a thriving Jet Ski community with many clubs and providers offering advice. There are a number of Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Recognised Teaching Establishments offering Personal Watercraft courses.
